Frequently Asked Questions

How it works

How is my session created?

You complete a short intake form telling us what you'd like to work on. Our system uses your specific words, situation, and goals to generate a personalised hypnotherapy script, which is then synthesised into an audio session designed entirely around you.

How long until I receive my session?

Most sessions are delivered within 30 minutes of completing the form. You'll receive an email with a link to listen as soon as it's ready.

How long is the session itself?

Each session is approximately 15 minutes of continuous audio — long enough for proper therapeutic depth, short enough to fit into a real day.

Is this real hypnotherapy?

Yes. The methodology is built on clinical hypnotherapy techniques used by qualified practitioners, designed by Kris Byers, a registered hypnotherapist with the National Hypnotherapy Society. The delivery method is new; the underlying approach is established.

How does it differ from meditation apps?

Meditation apps offer pre-recorded content designed for everyone. Hypnotrack generates a session built around your specific intake — your words, your goal, your voice — using clinical hypnotherapy structure rather than general mindfulness.

Who actually creates my session?

The script is generated by an AI system designed and trained by Kris, our qualified hypnotherapist. The clinical framework, language patterns, and safety considerations were all designed by him — the AI follows his methodology rather than improvising.

Can I listen to it more than once?

Yes. We recommend listening several times — hypnotherapy works through repetition, and most customers find the experience deepens over multiple listens. Your session is yours to keep.

How often should I listen?

Many customers listen once a day for the first week or two, then less frequently as the changes settle. There's no rule — listen as often as feels right.

What if I don't notice any change?

Hypnotherapy often works subtly. Some customers notice immediate shifts; others find changes emerge over days or weeks. Either is normal — give it time.

Will the session work for me?

Hypnotherapy works for most people who approach it with openness. It isn't magic, and it isn't a substitute for clinical care where that's needed. For everyday concerns like stress, sleep, confidence, and habits, the evidence base is strong.

Is it right for me?

Who is Hypnotrack designed for?

Adults looking for support with everyday challenges — stress, anxiety, sleep, confidence, habits, emotional patterns, performance. If you're functioning in your life and want gentle, considered support, Hypnotrack is built for you.

Who shouldn't use Hypnotrack?

Anyone currently in mental health crisis, receiving inpatient psychiatric care, experiencing active psychosis, or in immediate distress should seek professional support first. Hypnotrack isn't a substitute for clinical care.

Can I use Hypnotrack if I'm pregnant?

We ask all customers to confirm they're not pregnant, or if they are, that they've consulted their midwife or doctor about using hypnotherapy. Perinatal mental health is a specialist area that benefits from in-person clinical support.

Can I use it with therapy or medication?

Generally yes — many customers find Hypnotrack complements existing support. We'd encourage you to mention it to your therapist or prescriber, particularly if you're working on something clinically significant.

First time trying hypnotherapy?

Completely. Most of our customers are first-timers. There's nothing to learn beforehand — your only job is to find somewhere quiet, press play, and let the session do its work.

What if I don't believe in hypnosis?

That's fine. Hypnotherapy doesn't require belief — it works through focused attention and relaxation, which are natural states everyone experiences. You don't need to believe it for it to work.

Will I be made to do anything weird?

No. Stage hypnosis and clinical hypnotherapy are very different. You remain in control throughout, you're aware of what's happening, and you can stop the session at any moment.

What if I fall asleep listening?

That's fine and quite common — the relaxed state is similar to sleep. Your subconscious still receives the suggestions even if your conscious mind drifts off.

Is there a minimum age?

Yes — Hypnotrack is for adults aged 18 and over. We don't currently offer sessions for under-18s.

Can I share it with someone else?

The session is personalised to you, so it won't translate well to another person. If someone you know wants their own session, they should complete their own intake — the personalisation is what makes it work.

The voice recording

Why do I need to record my voice?

Your voice carries emotional information that helps us calibrate the session to your current state — pace, tone, energy. It also helps us pick the right therapeutic approach for where you are right now.

What happens to my voice recording?

It's analysed for emotional context, the result is stored with your order, and the original recording is deleted after 90 days. We don't share it, train on it, or use it for anything else.

Is my voice recording ever shared?

No. Your recording is processed by our AI emotional analysis system and then sits in our secure storage until automatic deletion. No human listens to it, and it's never shared externally.

Can I skip the voice recording?

The voice recording is part of the personalisation process — we'd encourage you to do it. If you genuinely can't, contact us and we'll find a way to support you.

Will I hear my own voice in it?

No. The session is voiced by Orla, our co-founder. Your voice recording is only used for emotional analysis during the personalisation process.

What if my recording is bad quality?

Don't worry — we only need enough audio to read emotional tone. Background noise, accent, or imperfect recording quality won't affect the result.

Can I record from my phone?

Yes. Most customers record directly through the form on their phone or computer. No special equipment needed.

How long should my recording be?

Around 30 seconds to a minute is usually plenty. The form will guide you through what to say.

What if I'm self-conscious about it?

That's a very common feeling. Remember: no human listens to it, the system isn't judging it, and it's deleted automatically. Most customers find this easier than expected.

Can I re-record if I want to?

Yes. The form lets you re-record as many times as you need before submitting.

Payment and refunds

How much does Hypnotrack cost?

A single Hypnotrack session is £75. This includes the personalised session, lifetime access, and your 10% contribution to our charitable tithe.

What's included in the £75?

Your personalised audio session, lifetime access to listen as often as you'd like, a personal listening dashboard, and our HypnoDoc companion guide. We don't charge extras.

Are there hidden costs or subscriptions?

No. £75 is a one-off payment for one personalised session. There's no subscription, no recurring charge, and no upsells.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. We offer a 14-day no-questions-asked refund — if for any reason you're not happy with your session, email hello@hypnotrack.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full. This applies even if you've already downloaded and listened.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, our secure payment processor. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

Is the payment secure?

Yes. Payments are processed by Stripe, the same payment infrastructure used by Apple, Amazon, and most major brands. Your card details never touch our systems.

Do prices include VAT?

£75 is the total price you pay. Hypnotrack isn't currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added or applicable.

Can I gift a session to someone?

Yes — Hypnotrack sessions can be gifted. The recipient receives the gift and completes their own intake form, so the session is personalised to them rather than you.

Do you offer payment plans?

At £75 we keep the price accessible without needing payment plans. We don't currently offer instalments.

What if my payment fails?

If your payment doesn't go through, you won't be charged and your session won't be created. Try again, or contact us if there's an issue with your card.

Delivery and access

How will I receive my session?

Once your session is ready, we'll email you a link to your personal listening dashboard where you can stream or download the audio.

Can I download the audio file?

Yes. Your session is yours — download it to your phone, save it to cloud storage, keep it forever.

Can I listen offline?

Once downloaded, yes. You can also stream it whenever you're online.

What if the email doesn't arrive?

Check your spam folder first. If it's not there after an hour or so, contact us at hello@hypnotrack.com and we'll resend it.

Can I access it on multiple devices?

Yes. Your listening dashboard works on any phone, tablet, or computer with a browser.

Will I lose access after some time?

No. Your session is yours for life — there's no expiry on your access.

Can I get a written transcript?

Transcripts aren't provided as standard, but you're welcome to request one — email hello@hypnotrack.com and we'll send you the text of your session.

What audio format is the session?

The audio is delivered as a standard MP3 file, which plays on every device, app, and platform.

Can I add it to a podcast app?

Spotify and Apple Music don't allow personal audio uploads. You can save the MP3 to any podcast app that supports custom audio files, or play it directly through your phone's music app.

What if I forget my dashboard link?

Use the "Request a new link" option on the homepage — we'll email you a fresh link to your registered email address.

Listening to your session

When's the best time to listen?

There's no single right time — many customers like first thing in the morning, after work to decompress, or before sleep. Pick a time when you can be undisturbed for the length of the session.

Where should I listen?

Somewhere quiet and comfortable where you won't be interrupted. Most people listen sitting in a comfortable chair, lying on a sofa, or in bed.

Should I use headphones?

Headphones are recommended — they help with the binaural frequencies woven into the audio and reduce distraction. Speakers work too if headphones aren't an option.

Can I listen while driving?

No. Hypnotherapy creates a deeply relaxed state — never listen while driving, operating machinery, or doing anything that requires alertness.

Can I listen at night to fall asleep?

Yes — many customers do, particularly for sleep-related sessions. Falling asleep during the session is completely fine.

What if I'm interrupted mid-session?

That's okay. You can pause, return later, or start again from the beginning — whichever feels right. The session works whether you complete it in one go or break it up.

Should I close my eyes?

The session will guide you to close your eyes when the time is right. Until then, find a position where you'll naturally let them close — usually that means lying down or sitting back in a comfortable chair.

What if I feel emotional during it?

Some customers do — that's a normal therapeutic response. If you're listening to something sensitive (grief, anxiety, past experiences), having tissues nearby and time to sit with the feelings afterwards is a good idea.

What if nothing happens?

Hypnotherapy often works subtly. You may not feel a dramatic shift during the session itself, but notice changes in the hours, days, or weeks that follow. Trust the process.

How do I get the most out of it?

Listen regularly, somewhere quiet, with headphones, and without trying too hard. The less you force it, the more it works.

The charity tithe

What's the charity tithe?

10% of every Hypnotrack purchase is donated to charity. This isn't a marketing line — it's a built-in part of how Hypnotrack operates.

Why 10%?

The principle of tithing — giving a meaningful percentage of what you receive — is woven into how we built Hypnotrack. 10% felt like a real commitment rather than a token gesture.

Which charities do you support?

We work with six carefully chosen charities. When you complete your intake form, you'll see all six on the final screen and choose which one your tithe goes to — so your 10% supports a cause that matters to you.

Can I choose where my donation goes?

Yes. The choice is yours — you pick from our six partner charities at the end of the intake form, and your £7.50 tithe goes to the one you select.

How much actually gets donated?

£7.50 from every £75 session goes to charity — the full 10% before any costs are taken out.

How can I see the donations being made?

We don't currently publish a public donations total, but if you'd like an update on what we've contributed, email hello@hypnotrack.com and we'll share the figures with you directly.

Is the donation tax-deductible for me?

No — the donation is made by Hypnotrack, not by you personally. Your £75 is a purchase, not a charitable contribution from your side.

Are you a registered charity?

No — Hypnotrack is a business that gives away 10% of its revenue to charity. We're committed to the tithe being permanent, but we're not constituted as a charity ourselves.

Why is charity built into the model?

Hypnotrack exists to help people. Building a structural commitment to give meaningful sums to charity felt aligned with that purpose. It also keeps us honest about why we're doing this.

Will the 10% ever decrease as you grow?

No. The 10% tithe is permanent regardless of company growth. If anything, we want to find ways to give more over time, not less.

Do you use cookies?

We use essential cookies for the website to function and limited analytics cookies (which you can decline). We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

Will you ever send me marketing emails?

We only email you in connection with your session — delivery, follow-up, support. We don't run a marketing list, and we don't send promotional emails without explicit consent.

What if I never use Hypnotrack again?

Voice recordings are auto-deleted after 90 days. Other data is retained for accounting and audit purposes, and can be deleted on request at any time.

Technical and troubleshooting

The form isn't accepting my answer.

Try refreshing the page first. If the issue persists, email hello@hypnotrack.com with a brief description of what you're seeing — include the screen you were on if you can.

I can't hear the voice preview.

Check your device volume and that your browser allows audio playback. If you're on iPhone, the silent switch can sometimes mute browser audio.

I haven't received my session email.

First check your spam or junk folder. If it's not there after an hour, email hello@hypnotrack.com with your name and order details and we'll resend.

The audio won't play on my device.

The audio is a standard MP3 file that plays on all modern devices. If it's not playing, try downloading it and opening in your phone's default audio player.

I forgot my dashboard link.

On the homepage, choose "Already a customer? Request a new link" and enter your email. We'll send you a fresh magic link.

My magic link has expired.

Magic links are valid for 7 days. Request a new one from the homepage and we'll send a fresh link to your email.

Payment failed but I was still charged.

This sometimes happens with bank authorisations — the charge will usually be released automatically within a few days. Email us if it doesn't, and we'll help sort it.

I made a mistake in the form.

If your session hasn't been generated yet, email us straight away and we may be able to redo it. Once generated, contact us and we'll decide together what makes sense.

The session doesn't feel right for me.

Contact us at hello@hypnotrack.com — we want every customer to have a session that genuinely helps. We'll review what didn't work and decide together what to do.

Who do I contact if I'm stuck?

Email hello@hypnotrack.com for any support questions. We aim to respond within 24 hours, usually faster.
